The members of LTlov, The Lake Travis Labor of Love, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you in our community who supported our recent event “Joy to the World… One Child at a Time” benefiting Operation Green Santa. With your help we far exceeded not only last year’s numbers, but all expectations we had for this year! Drum roll please! LTlov’s 2009 donation to Operation Green Santa included 195 physical gifts, $325.00 in gift cards and a cash donation totaling $875.00! In keeping with the mission of LTlov, Operation Green Santa is a completely local effort sponsored by the Lake Travis Fire & Rescue’s Ladies Auxiliary. We salute these fine women and all of their hard work to make Christmas just a little bit better for some of our neighbors in need of a helping hand. We would also like to thank American Bank for their willingness to be a collection site on our behalf and for the many ways they have partnered with our success. It is an honor to be a part of such a generous and caring community! May the blessings of the season rest on us all throughout the coming year.
