Membership FAQ

According to LTlov's by laws, there are only two requirements for membership: a 2 year commitment, and a $100 yearly fee.

However, to successfully pursue our mission, much more is needed from each one of us! For your consideration, additional membership responsibilities include, but may not in the future be limited to:

• Participation in LTlov sponsored events - sending out invitations, donation of refreshments, help at an event, distributing promotional materials
• Donation of goods specific to LTlov sponsored events, in-house drives, and community drives
• Meeting attendance - especially important during the Funding Presentations
• Committee participation - has not been a factor to this point, but as we grow committees will become a more efficient way to operate
• Member Gift - a 2nd gift, voluntary financial contribution to the funding arm of LTlov. The member gift can be handled in 1 of 2 ways:
  • Set Donation - most effective when it is donated prior to the Vote to Fund meeting so our available funds are most accurate
  • Variable Donation - committed on the voting ballot, specific to a funding request & only collected if that request is granted
