Michelle Zogas"As the founder of the Lake Travis Labor of Love, my intention was to create an environment where like-minded women could join together to make our community a better place for everyone to live. It was my hope that we could also have a lot of fun doing it! I want to thank each woman who started with me back in October 2007 as we set ourselves to a task that proved to be both challenging and extremely rewarding. Organizational structuring, legal validation and membership alliance took vast amounts of time and patience. I believe it has been well worth the trouble! LTlov has definitely impacted the greater Lake Travis area through donations to Operation Green Santa, the Children's Emergency Shelter through Peaceful Dreams, the Lake Travis Crisis Ministries and the local district of the Boy Scouts of America. Our 2009 funding insured that a local resident had a roof over her head this summer, allowed a local teacher to take personal days to care for her daughter in critical care across town, created the opportunity for a student at HBMS to attend a therapeutic camp that pairs horses and people with special needs, and gave the Crisis Ministries a financial boost at a critical time. I hope you are smiling with me as I invite you to join with us as we work toward another successful year of thoroughly enjoying making our world a better place!" Sincerely, Michelle Zogas - Founder and President, LTlov"
