Although it is our mission to keep funding local, we will entertain applications with any "local component" if they are in keeping with our mission statement.

To be considered for funding by LTlov, all candidates must complete a current year's funding application. This document must be on file prior to the closing of the current funding season which typically falls in May. Applicants may also be asked to give a short presentation to the membership.

Recent Funding

LTISD ScholarshipThe Lake Traivs Labor of Love's scholarship committee is excited to announce Ross MacNames as our scholarship recipient from Lake Travis High School for 2010. This is the first scholarship of its kind awarded by LTlov, but members are committed to supporting the dreams of a Lake Travis graduating senior for years to come. Ross will attend Texas A&M university in the fall, and plans to prepare for a career in Renewable Natural Resources.

We are pleased to announce the grant recipients of our 2010 funding seaon! At our May 5th meeting, members voted to invest $8,000 into the greater Lake Travis area. The applicants approved for funding are: the Austin School for the Performing & Visual Arts for 10 World Music Drumming summer camp scholarships to LTISD students, $1,500 to the Lake Travis Crisis Ministries, tuition for 30 horse therapy sessions at the Dream a Dream Therapeutic Horsemanship (DADTH) awarded to the son of an LTISD teacher, and $1,560 to DADTH for the purchase of 1 English therapeutic riding saddle, 2 sets of color coded reins, and 2 PT safety helmets. In addition, members gifted $1,140 to two private causes that shall remain anonymous.
