"Feeling the Love"

Members of LTlov were treated to a fun and very rewarding evening at Lake Travis High School. The Lady Cavs basketball teams played their last home games of the season with a salute to service and philanthropy. It was an evening we hope will become a yearly event dedicated to helping LTlov help Lake Travis. "Pass the Love" lived up to its name in more ways than one! As honored fans we walked through a huge balloon arch and into a gymnasium that had been decorated and transformed into a celebration of LTlov. Delicious cakes and cookies overflowed from baskets in tempting goodie bags all labeled with our logo and mission statement. T-shirts proclaiming "pass the love," were proudly worn by players, coaches, parents and fans, as the first words from the announcer informed all present that the night was dedicated to LTlov. It was exhilarating to listen as the crowd responded to the recitation of our mission, vision, and success with a resounding applause! To kick off the game, the Lady Cavs Varsity players passed the love to their opponent, Dripping Springs, by presenting a red and white rose to each of their senior players in recognition of their final high school game. Finally, following a beautiful performance by the Cavalettes, the Lady Cavs presented LTlov with a closely estimated donation of $3000.00!

Thank you Lady Cavs, Coach Dydalewicz and Coach Stone, Lady Cavs parents, teachers, administrators and fans! Thank you for buying t-shirts and goodies! And ladies, thank you for your tireless dedication in collecting donations these past weeks. It all added up and up and the result was beyond all expectations! Go LT! Go LTlov!
